    In collaboration with the Kunsthalle München and the Klassik Stiftung Weimar Philipp Fürhofer created the exhibition design that will showcase more than 150 artworks inspired by the world’s most celebrated work in German literature which has fascinated countless artists in the last 200 years. The presented artworks are immersed in a theatrical setting, guiding the visitors’ experience through Goethe’s »Faust«.

    Schirn Kunsthalle in Frankfurt
    The installation was created specifically for the Schirn Rotunda, transforming the circular architecture of the building into an illusionary space. Two spatial situations alternate in a regular, pulse-like rhythm, reflecting the play between the viewers perception and their notion of reality.
